Joan Rivers critiques fashion - every week. Oh yes.

Women who love fashion are guaranteed to enjoy the post-awards fashion post-mortem show on E! called 'Fashion Police'.

Joan Rivers, E!'s Giuliana Rancic, and a couch-full of celebs dissect and critique star's outfits... and often, they're brutal.

Often I agree, sometimes I disagree, but watching women who have made their own red carpet faux pas mishaps (hello, Ms Rivers!) is rather entertaining on a pot-calling-kettle-black level.

And now, E!'s 'Fashion Police' will be screened weekly and hosted by Joan Rivers. And no doubt 'bitch' won't hold back.

Kicking off tonight, Wednesday September 1 at 8.30pm with an hour-long event covering the Primetime Emmy Awards, it will then move to its regular weekly timeslot on Saturday, from September 11 at 7pm on E!

Joan will continue to host 'Fashion Police' specials in the 2011 awards season once again dishing on red carpet fashion at the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAGs and Grammys.

Says Joan of her new regular project, on which daughter Melissa is co-executive producer: "Melissa and I are so excited to bring viewers 'Fashion Police' on a weekly basis. It's great to be on E! where I can speak my mind about celebrity fashion choices, including the hits, misses and everything in between."

A little more about Joan Rivers: she has been hosting E!'s 'Live from the Red Carpet' since 1996. She is an internationally renowned comedienne, Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author, Emmy Award-winning television talk show host, playwright, screenwriter, motion picture director, columnist, lecturer, syndicated radio host, jewellery designer and cosmetic company entrepreneur... oh yeah, and a grandmother - girl is 77. Can you believe it?

The E! channel is available on FOXTEL, OPTUS and AUSTAR on Channel 121.

Hussy and Cointreau Fashion TV wrap event

Saturday night last weekend saw The Ivy host a fabulous event - the Fashion TV wrap party for Hussy and Cointreau, which featured a slew of gorgeous gowns from the fashion label's latest collection. Note to Hussy lovers: each piece is stu-nning. Electric blue and coral and prints all featured, in frocks of varying lengths. VIP guests sipped on Cointreau Blush cocktails – Cointreau, pink grapefruit juice, soda and fresh lime – plus pizzas and Piper, and were entertained by singer Merenia Gilles. Divine.

In other news, I broke in my new Peep Toe 'Miss Soleil' stilettos that night (aka, my 'bondage' shoes) with nary a complaint.

Ultimate Wedding Planning Party - Sydney Opera House - WIN!

Getting married... what a monumental project!

I didn't have a big ethnic wedding by any means, but during the planning process, I often wished we'd just elope to Vegas.

I went to a bridal expo when I was prepping, and it felt all a little, well... common.

Had there been a do where I could've been inspired by a few handpicked, top-of-their-game, uber-pro bridal experts in their field, showing at a superior venue like the Sydney Opera House, I would've been in.

Voila! This exact event has been running for a couple of years - it's called the Ultimate Wedding Planning Party - and it will be held at the Opera House on Wednesday September 15, with two sessions: a lunchtime and evening session.

Every attendee gets a $500 goodie bag, which includes Jo Malone products, Bobbi Brown cosmetics, Riedel travel glass, Guylian chocolates, Bulgari fragrance, hair products by Schwarzkopf, Bride to Be magazines, a gift card from Goddess Lingerie and special offers from all the other wedding suppliers. Worth going just to nab a bag, really!

Buy a ticket between now and September 3 and get another free! The 2 for 1 deal ticket offer is for the daytime session 12pm – 2pm (tickets usually valued at $50 each). This offer is available to the first 50 applicants, and available until this Friday.

And, Josie's Juice is giving away two tickets to the daytime session, worth $50 each. Simply click 'follow' on the blog, and you are in the running.

Pink Stitch fashion - Tropicana collection - WIN!

The 'tropicana' collection by fashion label Pink Stitch is about to hit the boutiques... and it is completely gorgeous.

The 2010 summer collection is unashamedly fun and flirty, with florals, frills, soft and flowy party
dresses - and all the pieces are easily styled up, to take it from casual to night out.

Think maxi dresses, shorts, tunics, floral dresses, frill skirts, bustiers and tees.

If you're going away - or sauntering around the home pool with a cocktail in hand pretending to be away like I do - these pieces are so perfect. Lace and flowers (I want that bike, please!) and polka dots are incorporated in this collection, as are stripey basics, cute camis, tailored shorts and lightweight jackets. I seriously want one of each. And I'd give the shorts to my bestie with killers legs.

Or perhaps she - and you - can enter this Josie's Juice competition! The kind folk at Pink Stitch are offering three of the 'lucky lace tunic' - valued at $64.95 each - to readers of this blog. Simply click 'follow' to be in the running and answer this question: where do you plan to wear this sexy white number and with what... and with whom! Email answers to: josiegags@optusnet.com.au

Designed by Maryanne Petsinis, Pink Stitch's 'tropicana' collection retails between $29.95 and $129.95 - hooray: a realistic price point!

It will all be in stores from October/November 2010.
