Max Factor 2012 Winter Makeup Update by Liz Kelsh

Look no further than these tips from makeup artist Liz Kelsh.

Liz is Max Factor Australia's makeup artist, and has worked with myriad stellar celebs. In fact, her first celebrity client was Nicole Kidman. She followed this over the years with Jennifer Aniston, Cate Blanchett, Vanessa Hudgens, Kim Cattrall, Hugh Jackman, and more.

She has worked with fashion designers John Galliano, Stella McCartney, and Roberto Cavalli, and Aussie labels Ksubi, Zimmermann, and more. Brands have included: David Jones, Audi, and Lovable, and she has worked with music artists Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, and The Pussycat Dolls.



Here, we asked her some about the key looks for the season:

"The new goth is a key trend this winter and has made an impact on the red carpet, too. Check out Kate Bosworth at the 2012 MET bala ball who pulls this off to a tee."




How easy is it to recreate catwalk looks at home, and how do you tone it down so it’s wearable for the everyday?

Make this look every day by keeping the rest of the makeup simple – just lashings of mascara and a strong lip.

What are the hero Max Factor products needed to create these looks?
Key products to use would be Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara and Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in Mulberry.
