Myer 'Carols In The City': The Sebastian Foundation - 2014

This is happening this Sunday - and it's the perfect mix of Christmas festivities, kiddie fun, carols and Australian singers with angelic, incredible voices.

Now in its second year, The Sebastian Foundation’s annual Christmas concert Carols In The City, proudly presented for the first time by Myer, 
will feature some of Australia’s hottest current pop acts will join an already impressive line-up.



Tim Omaji aka Timomatic, joins singers Taylor Henderson, Hayley Warner, Emma Birdsall and Carmen Smith along with Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, Shannon Noll, Sam Moran and The Australian Institute of Music Choir, in two not-to-be-missed Christmas shows. 
I love every single one of these artists and seeing and hearing them all in one iconic Sydney venue will be something else.

Myer Carols In The City presented by The Sebastian Foundation, will be held on Sunday December 14 at Sydney’s iconic Town Hall in both a 3pm and 6pm show. The show, hosted by Guy and Jules Sebastian, is a non-stop Christmas entertainment experience and includes special giveaways, a free family photo studio and a Christmas gift shop. I mean, look at these two Xmas funsters - they've got to be the cutest couple around (and, you guys, I have heard Guy sing live and he is… breathtaking).

In its first year, the event delivered two sell-out family shows to audiences in the spectacular venue while raising over $40,000 for Australian families and enabling several significant community projects to be completed including construction of a children’s playground in the fire-ravaged Blue Mountains and a community kitchen for the Country Women’s Association.

“We were overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown to our foundation at our very first Carols In The City event in 2013,” Guy Sebastian said.

“To have Myer on board as our major partner for the next three years and to once again be able to raise funds for our charity to continue to help the disadvantaged is a dream for us,” he added.

Myer Chief Executive Officer, Bernie Brookes said: “We are honoured to be the inaugural major partner of Myer Carols in the City and supporting the great work that Guy and Jules both do in the community. We have a proud tradition of philanthropy dating back to our Founder, Sidney Myer and we’re delighted to be able to help those in the community who are less fortunate, particularly at Christmas.”
