'The Real Housewives of Melbourne': 2015 Season Two Screen Date

It's back!

'The Real Housewives of Melbourne' are back for season two - and we have a date: Sunday February 22 at 8.30pm only on Foxtel’s Arena. Here is a just-in new cast shot:

Again we have the faces from the last session: savvy businesswoman Chyka Keebaugh, barrister and mum of two Gina Liano, straight-talker psychic Jackie Gillies, property developer and party girl Janet Roach and interior designer Lydia Schiavello. This season they are joined by property developer and mum of three Pettifleur Berenger and Gamble Breaux, a dog loving art consultant whose partner is renowned eye surgeon Rick Wolfe. (And yes, Andrea Moss is not a part of this new season).

There is nothing ordinary about these 'housewives' - enjoying a lavish, pampered and cultured lifestyle in Melbourne, they make no excuse for the life of luxury they lead. I don;t feel an ounce of envy watching these women - but they do make strangely entertaining viewing.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne will return with more housewives, more drama, and even more priceless ‘you have to see it to believe it moments’ in the highly anticipated second season,” Foxtel’s General Manager of General Entertainment Channels, Brendon Moo, said.

“The series launched onto screens this year becoming one of the most talked about programs of 2014 and driving social conversations as Foxtel subscribers watched the exploits of our Melbourne Housewives – we simply can’t wait to bring viewers the new season which is bigger and better.”

This entertaining eleven-part one hour soap-doc provides an insider view of the lifestyles of the wealthy and extravagant women with a revealing insight into their world. With two new ladies in the mix this season, get ready some bloody adductive TV… again.

Season two begins with Janet planning a big night to celebrate her birthday. The housewives are determined to start afresh and put last year’s tensions behind them.  Things are going to plan when two newcomers enter the picture: art lover Gamble and property developer Pettifleur. It’s quickly clear these newbies are no wallflowers… of course they're not, to compete with the rest of the cast.

Season one made six relatively unknown women household names and catapulted them into the spotlight with the series becoming Foxtel’s highest rating reality production at the time of launch!

The series was also the first franchise outside of the US to screen on Bravo, creating a huge buzz across social media and is currently screening on ITVBe in the UK.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' is the series that started the 'Real Housewives' franchise which has now spawned series in the cities of Miami, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Washington DC and Vancouver which screen on Arena the home of Housewives. Other Housewives series include Israel, Athens and France.

Produced by Matchbox Pictures, part of NBCUniversal International Television Production, in conjunction with Foxtel, 'The Real Housewives of Melbourne' is the first Australian instalment of the world’s number one lifestyle reality franchise.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne season two will premiere on Sunday February 22 at 8.30pm on Foxtel’s Arena.
