Fergie M.I.L.F. $ VIDEO

Singer Fergie is back in a big way - in her new M.I.L.F. video, which, since its release, has notched up a lazy 30 million views on YouTube.

SO. What's it about?

Well... the M.I.L.F. you guys... oh no, it's a Mother I'd Like To Fuck, you guys.

Nope.

Fergie, she of The Black Eye Peas and strong solo career has decided to go and redefine the acronym. It's now: Moms I'd Like To Follow.

See? NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT. AT ALL.

Will you have impure MILF thoughts when you see these MILFS in this now viral video clip?

Ah, yup. Probably.

The MILFS in the clip include:

Kim Kardashian, Alessandra Ambrosio, Gemma Ward, Devon Aoki. Aussie model Gemma Ward, Amber Valletta, Natasha Poly, Angela LindvallChrissy Teigen (whose daughter Luna also cameos), singer Ciaraand one of my very fave models, Isabeli Fontana. Watch:

According to Fergie, it’s “about empowering women who do it all.”

“They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy,” said the singer. “With a wink of course.”

You may see the video as a celebration of womanhood... or perhaps just another unrealistic ideal for women to live up to. But why can't it be both? What, women can't be sexy as hell AND hard workers and providers and look hot when we dress up, even if, yes, most of us don't dress up like this and look like this, because this video features STYLISTS, and makeup artists, and hair genius people, and... you get the drill. That part is not reality, perhaps none of it is. But, don't WE get to choose our realities and our fantasies? Isn't that THE most empowering part?

Fergie says the concept for M.I.L.F. $ was in the planning for three years, and she’s hoping to inspire and empower mothers to balance motherhood, career life and “me time.”
She says:
“This is definitely empowering moms to have fun. Being a mom and having a career, taking care of yourself and still being able to be flirty and fun and a little naughty sometimes — there’s nothing wrong with that,” Fergie said in this phone interview from Los Angeles on Tuesday. “Society tries to tell moms what they should and shouldn’t be, and it’s just a little freeing to have fun with pushing those limits a bit. I might do it a little bit more than others, but that’s just who I am.”
While the music video shows the celebrity mother in various roles - a waitress, teacher, politician, real estate agent, gardener, yoga aficionado, breastfeeding mother - Fergie says it's “all done with a laugh and a wink ... I’ve always poked a little fun at being sexy.”
She continues in the interview:
“These girls are insanely beautiful and they’re all doing great things. These women, they were just having so much fun on set, giving their best ‘Got Milk’ ad if you will,” she said. “It was just great.”
She adds: “There’s so much more content that we shot ... that we’re just going to keep probably presenting it to everyone. I think ‘M.I.L.F.’ will probably have its own babies.”
The singer's last solo album was in 2006 - with 'The Dutchess'   - and since then, she’s released two albums with the Black Eyed Peas, a solo single and guest-starred on songs.
“M.I.L.F.” will appear on her second solo album, 'Double Dutchess' due out later this year.
The beauty is now 41 married to actor Josh Duhamel - they have a son, Axl Jack, born in 2013. Fergie says in the interview her son enjoys dancing to her new song.
“He loves it,” she said. “Whenever we put on music with a really good beat, he starts dancing and he does this little bounce and we call him ‘the dancing guy.’"
